End Of Pathway Assessments
Ringgold students completing a CTAE pathway have the opportunity to earn valuable credentials in the form of industry certifications/credentials, occupational assessment achievement, and/or state licensure.
Georgia's EOPA process was derived in direct response to the Perkins IV Legislation, which requires states to implement a measurement to identify the technical skill attainment level of students participating in CTAE courses. As a result, the CTAE pathways offered in the PCSD require students to take an EOPA at the completion of their third-level course of the pathway.
The EOPA is a rigorous exam designed to recognize achievement above and beyond that of a standard high school diploma. It is an exam developed by industry professionals in the pathway career field(s) and provides industry certifications and/or credentials.
