End Of Pathway Assessments

Ringgold students completing a CTAE pathway have the opportunity to earn valuable credentials in the form of industry certifications/credentials, occupational assessment achievement, and/or state licensure.

Georgia's EOPA process was derived in direct response to the Perkins IV Legislation, which requires states to implement a measurement to identify the technical skill attainment level of students participating in CTAE courses.  As a result, the CTAE pathways offered in the PCSD require students to take an EOPA at the completion of their third-level course of the pathway.

The EOPA is a rigorous exam designed to recognize achievement above and beyond that of a standard high school diploma. It is an exam developed by industry professionals in the pathway career field(s) and provides industry certifications and/or credentials.

Career Technical Student Organizations

Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs) are a vital part of Career, Technical and Agricultural Education (CTAE). CTSOs play an integral role in preparing students to become college and career ready members of society who hold productive leadership roles in their communities. CTSOs are committed to the growth of students in all CTAE career pathways.
